The wedding itself took place in the UK on 24 October 2017 where marriage equality had already been legalised.

Sarah wore a tailored suit, which had been designed and custom made for the big day and the two matched the colouring of their shoes – both made from a deep purple suede. Their honeymoon was in Cape Verde where they enjoyed nothing but sun, beach and each other for two whole weeks.
